Ten seasons on the sideline
The best sports photo is the one the athlete still has on the wall twenty years later.
I started with a borrowed 70 to 200 on the fence at a high school football game and never put it down. Now I cover varsity and club teams, track meets, motocross and marathons, shooting from the spots the crowd cannot reach.
Every frame is timed to the moment the play breaks open, then edited the same night so athletes and parents see it while the game is still fresh.
